Awaiting delivery of a 15-plate i40 later today,  most of my cars have been estates I prefer them. I must admit of late I've become very sceptic about all the fancy electronic add-ons that are fitted.

My last car (C5) had a security problem that no auto-elec guys could fix, it ended up having to be scrapped.    so fingers crossed for this i40.

Hi Trucker 75 and welcome to this club.
I must admit I've always had estates but since my wife introduced me to SUVs my loyalty has changed, although I refuse to get rid of my Volvo V70.

Hi We had 3 i30 Estates but after our last one we opted for a Tuscon boot not as big but suits us well with a dog. I nearly bought an i40 few years back it's a lot of car for the money but if i remember correctly they come in two BHP hope you chose the high one as the low ones were def underpowered. Cheers guys....a bit of a hiccup with the i40 over the weekend, popped to Banbury on Sat parked up,  Returned to the car before I exited the car park the DPF  light came on,  decided to give her a blast up the M40 to try and clear it.  Sunday started her, no light...good that must have done the trick drove about 5 miles still all clear, Monday had to drive down to the next village, but only got about 3 miles bloody light back on.

Rang the garage they are sending a fitter down tomorrow with a scanner, they think the burn up the M40...(only 10/12 miles) may have done the regen but the system has not cleared it.

They are bringing a spare car just in case this one has to go back for something different,  fingers crossed. 

ps just ordered an Autel MaxiScan MS309 OBD2.
