Fuses on Bayon
« on: February 25, 2024, 11:45:48 »
Hi. I've recently taken delivery of a 2022 Hyundai Bayon and I'd like to fit my dash-cam. I would like to know which ignition controlled fuse would be suitable to take power from. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

When it comes to finding the right ignition-controlled fuse to power your dash cam, you've got a few options. Typically, you'll want to look for a fuse that's linked to a circuit that's only active when the ignition is turned on. This ensures that your dash cam only draws power when your car is running, saving your battery from unnecessary drain when it's parked.

A common choice for many drivers is to tap into the fuse box under the dashboard or in the engine compartment. Look for fuses labeled with terms like "ACC" (Accessory), "IGN" (Ignition), or "RADIO." These circuits are usually connected to the ignition switch and are ideal for powering accessories like dash cams.
