I had a rear brake light out so I went to Halfords, whacked in the car details and chose the one it said would it - GE 380

Changed the bulb and the Mrs said the brakes came on.

Just went for a drive and the bloody dash lights up every time I brake.

Fished the old bulb out the bin, it's dual filament, the one Halfords said to use isn't.

I assume this is the most likely cause of the issue?

Rang Halfords there, he says its prob is their bulb finders fault.  So I'll go back tomorrow and swap.

I think I would have taken the old bulb out first before buying a new one.
