This guy is great, apparently he's won an emmy for his online car repair videos, lots of tips and info with video evidence.

Typically american, not sure about his attitude to health and safety, just watch him grinding off a wheel bearing without safety glasses!!
Lurchers do it for themselves....

Have a look at the Bosch website http://aa.bosch.de/aa-batterien/en/pkw/index.htm as that gives battery sizes (electrical and physical) and terminal layout.

This website is a valuable source of information on Engine matters. It is a compendium of stuff that teaches you how engines work and how to get the best out of them.

Numerous articles can be downloaded (pdf format requires Adobe reader or similar (download here)).

The full colour articles cover topics such as:

Engine management

Exhaust System Tuning

Turbos

Mapping

DYNOs

Compression

Fuel Injection

Brakes

Common Rail Diesel

Instrumentation

The list is [almost] endless.

Personally one of my favourites; what was the favourite car you owned?  Find out how many are left.  Just remember that others may be unregistered in garages and barns.

Here's another recall Web site,  slightly different to the government one.

http://www.recalluk.com.

It gave me the vin numbers affected for the santa fe brake light switch recall

It also give details of all things recalled for example Marks & Spencer Bengali Cod Curry

Have fun

Www.Fuelly.com - real world mpg figures entered by owners. Lots of Hyundai on there. If I'd discovered the website before buying my i20....!
Owned 2013 Hyundai i20 1.1 Crdi Bluedrive for 2 and a half years. That\'s one way to lose £9,000 in depreciation!
