Reverse camera image problem
« on: April 16, 2018, 09:13:31 »
Hi all,
Noticed recently that when i put car into reverse amd camera picture shows in ice unit...
The picture occasionaly has some lag, ie    Suddenly holds an image then when refreshes you are 2 ft closer—-a bit alarming to be fair!
Anyone else had this or knows a fix?

Is it a factory fitted camera? I’m picking up my new i10 SE Go tomorrow and am thinking of having a reverse camera fitted. Is it worth the money? I’m having sensors fitted anywsy

tbh, I do not use mine that much - I still rely on sensors and mirrors.. only time it is useful (for me), is when the sensors beep and I can see exactly what space I have.  Re the i10, it is small enough I think - just my opinion - not to need the camera.  or what you could do.. see how you get on driving it, parking, reversing and then decide if you need it.

my camera came with my model of car. so it is there, but that is about it

Chrissie its crystal clear, works great 98% just the lag thing is a worry. You should get it, my problem must be software related and an update could fix it.
